Toronto police bust attempted copper theft at Hydro One

Toronto Police have arrested seven people who allegedly broke into a storage lot at a hydro power station and attempted to steal $50,000 worth of copper wire.

Zsolt Nagy, 46, Jozsef Mate, 44, Zsolt Bandula, 38, Jozsef Dardos, 33, Sandor Ruszo, 28, Istvan Szarka, 26, and Sandor Horvath, 27, were charged with theft over $5,000 and breaking and entering.
